The Correlation Between Students’ Personality (Extrovert and Introvert) and Their Reading Comprehension Achievement

The students struggled with reading due to a lack of vocabulary and boredom when attempting comprehend text. Besides, the Teacher's technique did not match student's personalities, so they follow instructions given by Teacher in learning process. As result, many at MAN 1 Pesisir Barat Lampung got underscore reading. This study aimed determine whether there was relationship between personality traits (extrovert introvert) their comprehension success tenth grade academic year 2020/21. research used correlation design. population this Lampung. sample two classes, X Science 2, consisting 77 from those classes. data is collected using questionnaires tests. There were 20 questions for exam 40 test, which had been verified. After collecting both variables, SPSS version 21 Pearson Correlation Formula analyze data. doing hypothetical result showed that value significant generated Sig (P-value) = 0.006 < ɑ 0.05. H0 rejected, H1 accepted. Thus, it can be concluded students' personalities achievement 2020/2021. Then, coefficient 0.749, means variables high positive.
